Suzanne Walther is the Global Head of Talent of Bloomberg LP. With multiple lines of business and more than 14,000 employees, she is focused on determining the best methods to advance and celebrate employees while driving the Bloomberg business to new heights.

Previously Suzanne ran a successful startup business within Bloomberg as the global head of ALPHA, a sophisticated multi-asset portfolio and risk analytics solution. Ms. Walther started the ALPHA division in 2008 and the department grew significantly under her leadership resulting in considerable incremental Terminal sales and revenue. As global head of ALPHA, Ms. Walther was responsible for research, product development, sales and support.       

Since first joining Bloomberg in 1997, Ms. Walther has held progressively higher profile roles at Bloomberg establishing herself as a dynamic leader. Her career began in Analytics, and Ms. Walther was quickly promoted to on-site representative to one of the firm's largest and most critical clients, supporting their fixed income trading systems. She was then promoted to the role of manager of the Global Product Strategy Group, followed by management responsibility for the equity and fixed income sellside order management systems (TOMS & SSEOMS). Just prior to starting up ALPHA, Ms. Walther was the global business manager responsible for growing the TOMS business into a bottom line, multi-million dollar revenue generating division at Bloomberg.       


Ms. Walther graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a degree in Business & Languages. She is a member of the Women's Bond Club and is a YWCA Leadership Award recipient.
