ANGELA FUNG

Executive Director of Digital Production
Ogilvy

 

Angela Fung is the Executive Director of Digital Production at Ogilvy, an international advertising, marketing, and public relations agency. She is a proponent of modern ways of working, to bring creative ideas from concept to their fullest potential, embracing diverse and flexible teams to achieve goals better, faster, and smarter.

Angela leads a New York team of digital producers, business analysts, information architects, and content strategists on a wide range of digital marketing programs, from experiential campaigns to long-term engagement platforms and everything in between. She is also deeply involved in key client engagements, most recently for Coke Zero, IBM, and Philips.

Angela came to Ogilvy from the Google Creative Lab, where she was Executive Producer. At Google, she helped establish and streamline integrated production processes at a time of rapid team and business growth. She oversaw creative development for Think Quarterly, a publication created to provide insight into what’s on the horizon in a world gone digital, and the Hangouts Hackathon, a competition among cutting-edge creative technologists to show off the most ambitious applications of the Hangouts API.

Prior to Google, Angela worked at Razorfish, where she was the integrated PMO lead for end-to-end experience development, legacy system integration, customer database management, and CMS development for the North American launch of Sync, Ford Motor Company’s hands-free in-vehicle media technology. Before that, she spent nine years at @radical.media, where she led the design and interactive division. During her tenure there, she helped develop branded entertainment and digital projects for clients including Nike, George Harrison, The City of New York, and Sotheby’s. Her team received multiple awards, capped by the Communications Design Award for a body of work, from the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum.
 
Most recently, her team's work has been recognized by D&AD, the Effies, the FWA, Mashable, and Fast Company. Angela holds a B.A. in English Literature from Dartmouth College, and an M.F.A. in Painting from Parsons School of Design
